If you’re looking for a short but exciting loop trail, you’ve come to the right place. The trail is just under 4 km long and features gentle inclines along asphalt, forest paths, and some gravel. Along the way, hikers will find various interactive stations, such as racing to jump as far as the forest animals or climbing a spider web. A seesaw, climbing pyramids, and a viewing platform are located along the loop trail. The forest classroom at the Wacholders Nature Reserve invites you to linger. The small observation deck offers a glimpse of the tranquil village of Kelberg in the Vulkaneifel. Once you reach the end of the trail, during the summer months you can take a dip in the cool waters of the family outdoor pool.
